OMNIQUE METHOD RITUAL EMBODIMENT: THE PORTAL with MONIQUE TRINITY ROSE

Join founder and Creatrix of the Omnique Method™, Monique Trinity Rose, as we embark into an archetypal journey of Ritual Embodiment and embrace our empowered feminine wholeness. In this initiatory “Portal” workshop, we will get a taste of the 7 foundational archetypes of the Omnique format, which incorporates elements of hatha yoga, classical and modern Temple Dance, mudras, bellydance, chi-gong, martial arts, fitness conditioning, priestessing practices, and somatic psychology. Open to all who are ready to awaken their full spectrum experience, sweat, inquire, take risks, discover, and play! No technical dance experience necessary, only an eagerness and courage for inner alchemy.

RITUAL THEATRE I: INITIATION with NAGASITA and special guest TRISHA MCBRIDE sharing her Temple Body Philosophy technique

NagaSita takes you on a journey through the elements and shares key intentional practices for energetic clearing, consecrating the sacred sisterhood circle, setting intentions and opening elemental embodiment portals while guiding you through ancient temple dance movements. Together we align within ourselves and with each other, dancing through each element with a newfound awareness and sacred purpose. Our journey culminates with an infusion of the dance into a sacred geometric framework A.K.A.: The Temple Tableaux Format, where we experience the fruition of our journey together in fully activated, sacred dance empowerment and unity. This deeply enriching workshop provides you with a fully stocked fundamental tool kit and lays the essential groundwork for your sacred journey towards a fully realized Ritual Theatre dance practice, either as a solo practitioner or to be utilized in a group setting.

DANCE OF THE DIVINE: ODISSI CLASSICAL INDIAN TEMPLE DANCE with HALO SERONKO

Take an embodied journey into the sacred art of Odissi, a devotional dance form from the Jugannath and Krishna Temples of Orissa, India. Explore the history of the Devadasi, or auspicious Temple Dancers while experiencing the use of Mudra (hand gesture), Bhava (emotion), Pranam (prayer), and Bhakti (devotion) through a taste of this profound spiritual practice. Embody the statuesque postures and movements of this exquisite dance through the beginning steps and an embodied prayer. Through devotion in motion, discover the path of the Rasika; the beauty way of classical art as a path to divine awakening!

FIRE OF LOVE: MYSTICAL PERSIAN DANCE with SCHIRIN CHAMS-DIBA

Persian Dance is the embodiment of delicacy, elegance, grace, beauty, poetry, art and spirituality. Rooted in Persian aesthetics, the dance form with its curvature, steps, hand gestures, facial expressions, mood and subtleness resembles the intricacy of miniature art and calligraphy. Drawing inspiration from some of the greatest Persian Sufi poets such as Hafiz and Rumi , we explore Sufi inspired ecstatic whirling techniques, thus allowing ourselves to be intoxicated by Divine Love just as the great Mystics intended for us. We will explore the ever present inner yearning to unite with the Beloved and how to find that union through the devotional arts.
